Milan Democratic Committee

Meet the Candidates

This year, we will have three current office holders retiring. Please join us in thanking them for their many years of service to the town of Milan.

Supervisor Al LoBrutto
Town Board member Jack Campisi
Town Clerk Cathy Gill

Running to fill these and other vacant positions, we would like to introduce and reintroduce our 2025 candidates for Milan office.

Bill Jeffway, a Town Board member for the past 8 years is stepping up to fill the role of Supervisor. We looked long and hard to find good Town Board candidates, and I’m very pleased to say we found a couple of really good ones in Clint Bond, jr. and Glenn Weinrich. They are out knocking on doors, meeting and talking with Milaners, and I’m confident that you will share my enthusiasm for them.

Also on the ticket will be Ingrid Kulick running for Town Clerk to replace retiring Cathy Gill, and Slade Meade running for the Town Justice seat made vacant by the untimely passing of Ed Byrnes. Both Ingrid and Slade have the resumes and experience to fill these critical jobs for our town.

Beware the “off-year” turnout problem

Several of these races will be hotly contested and, unfortunately, Democrats tend to have low turnouts for the so-called “off-year elections. It’s a well known and documented thing. I’ve been doing this for 15 years or so and I’m amazed at how significant the drop off is. So please make plans to vote, either in person or by absentee ballot. Every vote matters. A few years ago the Democratic candidate lost the Supervisor race in Pine Plains by a single vote.

‘Vote Row ‘A’ All The Way!”

This means to vote for all the races. The Dems line on the ballot is the top row, Row A. The Judicial races matter as do the Clerk, Comptroller and County Legislator.

Please meet our county level candidates!
